Chittenango High School’s record for the past four years has been pretty good! In the season of 2021-2022 their record was 13-5, 2022-2023 was 16-2, 2023-2024 was 13-6, 2024-2025 was 8-7. In 2023 the Chittenango girls volleyball won sectionals and swept Christian Brother Academy. When our season was in the winter CBA was one of our top competitors. My favorite thing about switching from winter to fall as a senior was we get better competition and seeing new volleyball teams makes it more interesting because we don’t really know what to expect.
Is anyone going for college volleyball? Yes! Madison Eastman, a junior this year, is already starting to reach out to college coaches. She’s been talking to a few and she really is putting herself out there, sending them clips, having conversations, and just showing them her dedication to the sport. We are so proud of Maddy!
Things that I will personally miss about volleyball as a senior is playing the sport. This sport has taught me so many characteristics and I will forever carry them on. The friends I’ve made and the bonds I will be leaving next year are so bitter sweet. I will miss the fun practices, team dinners, and team bonding. Volleyball has truly changed the person I am today and I couldn’t do it without Mr. Chizzonite, Mrs. Lee, Mrs. Giblin, they have helped me succeed in many different areas and I couldn’t thank them enough.
