
The Chittenango Bears varsity football team lost in a dog fight to the ITC Eagles 8-20. The first quarter ended in a defensive battle with a score of 0-0. In the second quarter, the ITC offensive unit started to click, putting up 2 touchdowns. Late in the quarter Conner Bradbury went down with a hand injury, making the score at half time 14-0 ITC.
After a long talk at halftime, the Bears came out with a great defensive stand after ITC received the kick off. The rest of the quarter ended in another defensive battle with only 1 touchdown being allowed by the Bears. The final score of the 3rd quarter was 20 to 0 ITC leading. The fourth quarter started with ITC pitching a shutout on the road. Eventually a new hope sparked for the bears with Mason Corlis scampering for a 14 yard touchdown run to cut the lead to 12.
