The 2025 edition of the Boys Golf team got off to a great start and, as of Senior Night, sits at 8-3 on the season.

This fall, Section 3 changed the qualifying standard for Boys Golf. Previously, teams could qualify with a season match record over 0.500.  However, now, the tighter regulations meant the had to post a team score within 35 of par both at Rogues Roost and at an away course.  

After missing by fewer than three strokes in the first three chances, the team powered to a 204 at Cortland Country earning the bid to Green Lakes next week. Anthony Thousand continues to lead the team with a season average of just over par whileWyatt Perry and Sam Martin have also carded sub 40 scores.  Jack Khammar, Finn Gardner and Luca Thousand are all within one score of individual qualifying and hope to get there in the next match.  

Senior Night was held on September 23rd where the team recognized Norman Coomer, Dylan Brownson, Matthew Huckabee and Ryan Skoglund.  Special thanks to Kelly Whorral at Rogue’s Roost for hosting and providing delicious tenders and fries!!
