Today we are going to talk about Crumbl cookies, who is not going to love cookies! The Cookie Monster is the favorite of Miss Carpenter, my favorite Crumbl cookie to be honest is the milk chocolate cookie. There is a huge difference between a normal cookie and Crumbl. The main difference is that in the Crumbl cookies there are many toppings and extra things in the cookies beyond the normal ones are the dough and the chips. The flavour of the dough is the thing that I like best. In Madrid, where I’m from, we don’t have Crumbl cookies but in Valencia, a city in Spain they have them! Surprisingly, Crumbl is still Crumbl even in Spanish. Here in the USA right now they are so popular another location is opening soon. Our Broadcast Media class is bringing back the Crumbl Cookie Challenge and I tried them with my classmates in class. Miss Carpenter baked a “copycat” of the Crumbl cookie that we chose (Dirt Cake) and Crystal and I roadtripped to DeWitt to pick up a “real” Crumbl cookie. In class, we set up a blind taste test and asked students to choose their favorite based on things like flavour and texture. The test ended in a tie! One funny fact is that at the Crumbl cookie store in Valencia, cookies are cheaper than here in Chittenango. In DeWitt the cookies are all 5 dollars or more and in Valencia cookies are 4 dollars or more. Based on my analysis, Mrs. Carpenter’s cookies cost less than one dollar per cookie so my advice is get Mrs. Carpenter to do more challenges and we’ll get more cookies!!
