Several school students at Chittenango High School are planning on trick or treating this year. If you are still unsure where you want to trick or treat this year, here are some students’ favorite neighborhoods for trick-or-treating.

While most students go trick or treating on certain side roads due to proximity in location, a known safety for the neighborhood, or due to family living close to these locations; some students go to specific streets in an attempt to get bigger or “better” candies and treats. Here are some neighborhoods reported to have the best treats:

  • Bolivar Heights in Chittenango
  • Rondo Ave in Chittenango
  • Leta Street in Chittenango
  • Fyler Road in Chittenango
  • Northridge Drive in Chittenango
  • Valpark in Bridgeport
  • Side streets in Camden

A few students said they believed where they went trick or treating didn’t make a difference in the quality of candy brought home at the end of Halloween night, other students had different opinions and believe they have found ideal locations for bringing home the best candy. In Chittenango, Bolívar Heights was brought up multiple times as having large candy bars. In Bridgeport, Valpark was mentioned as having big candy bars and even town markets handing out candy. One student spoke highly of Camden and travels far due to knowing of their “superior candy handouts.”

If you are looking for big candy bars this year trick or treating, be sure to check out some of these streets and locations. Be safe and have fun trick or treating. Happy Halloween!
