There are big differences between the sports at high school in Spain and the USA. Here in the USA all the people do sports after school and sometimes on the weekends when they have games or practices. There are different choices because when we are in the winter season, or fall and spring. During winter we have different sports like basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, wrestling, and indoor track. In fall the sports are golf, soccer, tennis, football and cheerleading, and in spring lacrosse, tennis, golf, and girls volleyball. In Spain the sports are very different, they don’t have sports in high school. If you want to do sports, you have to sign up for clubs or places that offer sports. In my high school we have an after school sport that is basketball because the professional team of basketball is called “Estudiantes” so we are lucky to have them in my school because we learn so much of basketball. In my experience, the other day I went to my first football game in my life and was in the high school,we had so much fun, I didn’t understand anything but it was great. In Spain we don’t have the sport of football or football fields so I was so excited to see one. In the Chittenango high school we have also the basketball field that was just repaired, it’s so beautiful and I want to be in winter to see the games there, I cannot play in the team but sometimes in the class of gym we do basketball so I have the opportunity to play in that field.x
