SUNY Schools

Are you applying to a SUNY school? SUNY colleges are free to apply from October 20th through November 3rd.  Up to 5 SUNY colleges are waived from application fees using the ApplySUNY application for the Common App. Details are available at www.suny.edu/apply. Make sure you log into the scoir app and the common app. Even if you aren’t sure yet of where you want to go or what you want to do there are still a bunch of different options. If you plan on only applying to SUNY schools, we recommend to go to that link log in and get started. You can choose up to 5 schools and choose the major that interests you or even put “Undecided.”

NY Private Colleges and Universities

Many private colleges across New York State have waived application fees this month. Nearly 130 New York colleges and universities are waiving application fees. Application fees are normally ranging from $50 to $90. This is a chance to save money and apply now!

Don’t forget your counselors are there for you; they can help you in multiple ways: applying, figuring out a major, how you’re going to set up financial aid if you need it, and figuring out what school.
