This year chittenango choir is going to be traveling all around the town! You must go to see their nice voices. They are going to these places: Veterans hospital, senior citizen holiday parties, other schools in the district, destiny mall and downtown Syracuse. They must be good because they are going to a lot of places. These acts are going to start after thanksgiving, and they are going to be all the Christmas break singing.

This choir is composed of 19 people, 18 singers and 1 drummer, all of them are studying at the Chittenango High School.  Their chorus teacher is Mr. Stearns. Each day the have a lot of work warming up before the acts and later they sing about 25 songs each day. A lot of people after the acts they ask them if they could sing for groups of music. They have more than 50 songs on its list, some of them are Jingle Bells, All I Want for Christmas is You, Run Run Rudolf, Silent Night and O Holy Night. To be in choir is a little difficult because you have to have a very good voice for singing, you have to try out to be in select choir and It’s very small, because are the best voices the ones that enter. I have asked a member of the choir called Maia, she says that being in the choir is a good experience for your life because you make many friends,  she says that it’s very fun because you meet many people and you go to many places and it’s a great environment to be in if you love music.

I have been in a choir for 2 years when I was 6 years old, and I had so much fun. I think that if you are in a select choir you have a great voice
