On Monday, November 24th, the exceptional learners classroom celebrated Thanksgiving with a feast in the library. They went around the table sharing what they are grateful for with their friends, played games like “this or that”, and ate amazing food. They enjoyed a three course meal including starters, main course, and dessert. There were many delicious dishes like mac and cheese, turkey, stuffing, pumpkin bread, and more. Two students shared their favorite parts of the Thanksgiving feast. AJ Cullen’s favorite part of the feast was “hanging out with everybody, and all of it like the macaroni and cheese.” Another student, Elijah Currado shared his favorite part was “eating the giant turkey bone”, and he even shared a heartwarming speech he prepared to express what he was thankful for. It seemed like everyone there had a great time, and enjoyed spending time with their close friends!
