Former Chittenango basketball player Ryan Moesch committed to Siena to play Division 1 basketball. Ryan was a four star recruit who had multiple offers from many different Division One schools. Those schools include Providence, Akron, Bowling Green, Bradley, Duquesne, Fordham, La Salle, Pepperdine, Rhode Island, Richmond, Stetson, Texas State, Towson, Iona, Colgate, George Mason, NJIT, Marist, Stonehill, Manhattan and Le Moyne.
Ryan was a versatile player on the court. His size put him at a disadvantage but his ball handling and shooting makes up for it. At Chittenango he would average around 20 points a game. He was a point guard who knew how to shoot. His left handed shot put him at an advantage to throw off his defenders. He broke 1000 points his junior year in high school and continued to dominate on the court. In 2022, Chittenango won the Section 3 Championship when Ryan was a sophomore. When Chittenango won they went on to go onto states but lost. Ryan continued to play until he transferred to a prep school at Cushing Academy. He gained popular at all the showcases he went to and it all paid off in the end. Congrats to Ryan for committing and we all wish you the best from Chittenango!
