With Halloween just around the corner, it’s an exciting week for the exceptional learners at Chittenango High School. The learners have each been asked multiple questions about their Halloween traditions and plans and are looking forward to having a lot of fun on this year’s Halloween.
One of the exceptional learners, Elijah Currado, was asked if he Trick-or-Treats, and he says that he does every year and enjoys it. Elijah was also asked what his costume was this year, which he said was Dick Van Dyke, and his favorite candy to get on Halloween is Crunch Bars. He is usually out Trick-or-Treating for 2-3 hours on Halloween, and he enjoys watching his favorite Halloween movies, Hocus Pocus 1 and 2! Elijah was very excited for this year’s Halloween and had a lot of fun.
The second exceptional learner that was interviewed about his Halloween was senior student and homecoming ambassador AJ Cullen. He was asked the same questions as Elijah but had some other fun and interesting answers! AJ doesn’t typically trick or treat, but he loves dressing up and having fun with family and friends on Halloween! AJ is a very outgoing student and loves goofy costumes! He said he wanted to be a poop emoji for Halloween, because it’s very funny and will make people laugh, including himself. Now while Elijah loves Crunch Bars, AJ’s favorite candy to get on Halloween is M&M’s. Even though AJ doesn’t typically go trick-or-treating, he said if he were to decide to go he would only want to be out for about an hour. He would love going just around his neighborhood with family and friends. AJ’s favorite Halloween movie is Hubie Halloween with Adam Sandler! He loves Adam Sandler and thinks he’s very funny and a great actor. AJ had a lot of fun this Halloween and plans to continue his fun traditions and activities for next year’s Halloween.
It is without a doubt that the exceptional learners had a great time this year for Halloween, and they are looking forward to next year’s events. It is very important that everyone has had a safe and spooky Halloween! A great thank you to Ms. Wilcox and Ms. Rooney for their hosting of a very exciting Halloween party for the exceptional learners. Thank you to everybody involved with the exceptional learners for giving them a very special and fun Halloween at school this year!
